economics meets geometry
Our large pizza is 18" in diameter, and the medium is 14". We've always known the value of an 18" pizza, because we know exactly how much dough, cheese, sauce, and toppings go onto every one of our pizzas. We also use top-quality ingredients not seen everywhere else in the market.
If we apply the formula for the surface area of a circle, (pi) x radius squared, we can figure out exactly how many smaller pizzas would fit into one 18” pizza.
If you do the math, looking at the prices of many other pizzerias in the area, and noting the size of the pie you receive, one thing is clear: the bigger the pizza, the better the bargain.
